Limited-Scope Engagement Agreement

Limited scope. Alikhan Law Office, LLC (Husna Alikhan, Esq.) is engaged only to prepare and review the documents for your uncontested joint divorce, not for litigation, court appearances, or any dispute between you.

Who we represent. The Firm represents you, the Petitioner, only. Your spouse (the Co-Petitioner) is not represented by the Firm; they take part in proper person (self-represented) and sign a separate Acknowledgment of Non-Representation confirming they understand the Firm is not their attorney. The Firm does not give your spouse legal advice, and your spouse may consult their own attorney.

Fee & refunds. The flat attorney fee ($995) is earned upon receipt and covers document preparation and attorney review. We also collect the $350 Clark County filing fee and pay the court on your behalf. If the Firm declines the matter or you cancel before we begin substantial work, any unearned amount is refunded.
