Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 16, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Alikhan Law Office, LLC, operating the DivorceEase service ("DivorceEase," "we," "us"), collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information when you use divorceease.online and our client portal.

1. Information We Collect

To prepare your Nevada divorce documents, we collect information you provide directly, which may include: your and your spouse's names, contact details, dates of birth, residential addresses, residency dates, marriage details, information about children (custody, support), and information about assets and debts. We also collect limited technical data (e.g., IP address, browser type) for security and analytics.

Payments: Payments are processed by LawPay/AffiniPay. We do not store your full card or bank account numbers on our systems.

2. How We Use Your Information

3. How We Share Information

We share information only as needed to deliver the service: with service providers acting on our behalf (e.g., document storage, email/SMS delivery, payment processing, e-signature, and online notarization), with courts and counterparties as required to file your matter, and as required by law. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Confidentiality

Communications relating to your legal matter are handled consistent with the attorney's professional duties of confidentiality. Where DivorceEase prepares documents for both spouses, information shared by one spouse may be visible to the other as part of the joint matter; this is explained in your engagement materials.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and private document storage with time-limited links. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain matter records consistent with the attorney's record-retention obligations under Nevada law and our professional duties, after which records are securely destroyed.

7. Your Choices

You may request access to or correction of your information, or ask questions about this policy, by contacting us at the address below. Certain records must be retained to meet legal obligations.
